Howard Properties Industrial Park Opportunities
Located within the incorporated limits of the City of Ione, the Howard Park Industrial Park includes approximately 140 acres of land that fronts toward State Route 124. The Industrial Park is located within one mile of historic Downtown Ione, the crossroads of State Routes 104 and 124 that serve as the main corridors between Amador, Sacramento and San Joaquin Counties. An existing rail line also passes directly through the Howard Properties Industrial Park.
The City has recently extended municipal services to serve the Industrial Park. The South Valley Trunk sewer extension will provide gravity fed sewer to the Industrial Park and municipal water service is provided through the Amador Water Agency. The City is currently working with property owners of the Industrial Park land to create a vision for development of the property. The City's general plan and zoning code currently allow industrial development within the site and would also allow appropriate commercial development.
Persons interested in learning more about the Howard Properties Industrial Park should contact Ione City Planner David Young at (209) 274-2412 ext. 104 or may direct e-mail to ctyplan@ione-ca.com.
